I am 9 years old and from Birmingham, Alabama. I auditioned and performed in my first theatrical production at age 7 at the Virginia Samford Theater, a local community theater. Prior to my first play, I had never been on stage before and had no idea what I was getting into. I fell in love with theater and acting after my first “opening night,” and I haven’t stopped since.  I have pursued formal, professional training in voice, acting, and private dance (tap) lessons. Along the way, I have met many talented and interesting people and have had some pretty awesome experiences, such as meeting and performing with lots of talented people. Lots of kids my age already have ideas of what they want to do when they grow up…. I have no idea, but I hope I can use my musical gifts from God to do something amazing.

When I’m not performing or singing, I have a love for sports. I play soccer and basketball for my school team and play baseball with my community league. I always enjoy cheering on my favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide whenever I get a chance. I love spending time with my family, my mom and dad, 3 younger brothers, and my 2 cats. I am grateful for the opportunities that I have been given and look forward to what the future may hold!

Voice:  I love to sing and have been training at The Amy Murphy Studio since I was 7 years old. I was able to perform in The All Star Cabaret in NYC in Spring of 2018 as a featured soloist. The All Star Cabaret features upcoming stars that can be seen on Broadway, National Tours, Films and Commercials. I have had several solo parts both in previous plays in theater and at school. I was able to sing and perform alongside other talented kids at Threshold Recording Studio in NYC during an intensive of “This Is Me,” from The Greatest Showman.

Acting:

I have been training under Meg Deusner and Acting Out Academy in Vestavia Hills, AL.

My favorite part with acting training has been the improv classes. I was given an opportunity to be cast as a child extra, with my younger brothers, in an upcoming major motion picture, and in September 2018 I was filmed in a national commercial for Steris Healthcare.

Dance:

I have been taking private dance lessons since early 2017 with a focus mainly in tap.

Other Cool Things About Me:

I have a love for baseball and my family has been host family to 4 professional baseball players over the last 2 years. Birmingham is the home of the Birmingham Barons, the AA team to the Chicago White Sox. Throughout the past 2 years, I have had 4 “big baseball brothers” live with my family and treat me like their little brother. Ironically, they have all been from the Dominican Republic, and I have learned a lot more conversational Spanish and now have a love for Dominican food. It was pretty cool to play catch in the yard with professional baseball players.
